Fashionista in Kpop & Korea Fashion Brands

K pop Fans yearn for K-pop Stars who have a great talent and look. There are many fashionista in K-pop. So Who do you think fashionista in K-pop scene? We can't just select one K-pop star of them. Today, I'm going to talk about fashionista in K-pop. But I should tell you that Following this list is no particular order. So Let's start it

 1. GD (Big Bang)

 

yeah, We already expected that he will be on this list. Gwon Ji Yong a.k.a GD is not only a famous fashionista in Korea but also in the world. He is invited a lot of Fashion shows and He has many friends in the world of fashion. For example, Karl Lagerfeld, Tom Ford, sergio eusebi ,Hedi Slimane etc.

So many companies (what we called 명품 회사) have gifted fashion items for GD. And He has been sponsored their fashion products (free).  GD was selected one who well dressed man of the world by GQ. CNN said the reason why Seoul is the worlds' greatest city is GD lives in Seoul. So What more there is to say? 

I think GD must be the most popular fashionista in K-Pop scene. (His other members of Big Bang; TOP, Tae Yang are well known for their fashion sense too)

2. CL (2ne1)

Chae Rin a.k.a CL is also well known for her fashion sense. 2NE1’s CL is K-pop's biggest fashionista and share her hair and fashion style with her 1.4 million Instagram followers. And  Especially she is muse of Jeremy Scott who is famous fashion designer. Jeremy Scott said that CL has great talent and charm to attract people.

And She is interested in fashion too. So She has attended many fashion shows. For instance, Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Alexander Wang etc. When Cl attended Alexander Wang's fashion show, She was given a better seat than Anna Wintour who is a chief editor of Vogue. See, She is very important people in the world of fashion.

3. Victoria (Fx)

Victoria is a Chinese but She is K-Pop star too. Victoria was received best popularity Goddess Awards by Jumei Awards. She is into fashion in the way. So Victoria's Fashion is issued often. Especially Victoria's airport fashion (What we call 공항패션) is very issued. And She has been often featured on the cover of fashion magazines in china, of course, in Korea too. so I think she is one of fashionista in Asia.

4. Kim Hee Chul (Super Junior)

Kim Hee Chul is member of K-pop boy band Super Junior. Honestly, She is not junior any more :D. Hee Chul was famous on internet before his debut. Why? He was well know for his good look (He was what is called 인터넷 얼짱). Anyway Hee Chul has an exceptional sense of fashion style too. I think that Hee Chul  loves usually  vivid color clothes and mix match.

So Sometimes, He wears a clothes which i can't understand :D  But He is undoubtedly fashionista in K-Pop. He is starring on TV Show (Knowing Bros, Weekly Idol) recently. 

Anyway, There are other fashionista in K-Pop scene. I  selected only a portion of them. Because I want to talk about Korean Fashion Brand which You wanna know. There area many companies on fashion in Korea. So I can't give you info all about them. I will tell you some of them including SPA brand.  

First of all, I should tell you Where the center of fashion in Korea. Yeah You knew the place, Myeong-Dong , that's right. Myeong- Dong is traditional center of fashion  in Korea. So Many tourists have shopped at Myeong-Dong. Anyway there are many fashion Brands store and shopping mall. I'll let you know that Korean prefer fashion brands now.( focusing Casual brand)

1. Bean pole

 

Beanpole is one of Korea's most ubiquitous clothing brands and for good reason. The brand is repeatedly featured in Korean fashion editorials that star the country's biggest pop stars and actors, and runs the gamut from men's wardrobe staples to technical performance gear. With such a huge local fanbase, it's only a matter of time before Beanpole expands internationally, which would be everyone's gain. If you like watching TV show Running Man, you could see some wardrobe by Bean Pole.

2. Mind Bridge.

 

Mind Bridge proposes both a classic and comfortable style. It creates a style for those engaged in creative and intellectual works. If you want to wear simple and comfortable fashion style, you would like this brand.  Mind Bridge is not a young casual brand but also brand for working people. So this brand is preferred by people in their 20s and 30s. Now Brand's model are Seol Hyeon and Ju won. (Personally I like this fashion style!!)

3. Eight Seconds 

Eight Seconds is SPA brand And this company is one of Sam Sung's subsidiaries. So this brand was very expected by fashion people. but unfortunately, this brand can't beat UNIQLO which is number one spa brand in Korea. Though 8 seconds has kept increasing their brand  awareness and sales. 8 seconds' main target is people in their 20s and 30s.  And This brand is sponsoring for many entertainer (K-pop singer, actor, actress etc). Recently, 8 seconds has collaboration with GD. (It is first collaboration for GD)

4.TOP Ten. (SPA brand)

Top Ten is also SPA brand. This brand has competitive price more than that of other SPA brand in Korea. Top Ten has been increasing their sales for years. Top Tan has top preference of Korea SPA fashion Brands. And Top ten has increased it's store for years. lately They have 100 store in Korea. TOP Ten is also main targeting people in their 20s & 30s. Song Jung Gi is currently Top ten's model. If you want to buy inexpensive but good quality clothes, you would like this brand. 

Phew, There are other good brand in Korea, but I can't post all about them. If i have time, i would post about other brands. And You can shop online market in Korea. for instance, G-Market, Aution, 11st, interpark etc. These online market have been selling product of many fashion brands. If you want to look around this site, Go!! just do it, search for site of them.  I have poor English level, So sorry for my poor posting. But I want to keep My Eng Post ;D
